Purpose

The Finance & Management Business School (FMBS) needs to keep certain information about its students, clients, prospective clients and other persons to allow it to carry out its business. Information such as this that identifies living individuals is known as personal data.

 The way in which personal data can be used or processed is specified by the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act) and this policy is intended to inform employees of their duties in processing clients’ and other persons’ personal data as well as their rights and obligations in connection with their own personal data.

Personal Information

When you enquire about studying at FM Business School we will ask you to provide certain information about yourself or your company if you are a sponsored student.

In order to be able to process your enquiry we will ask for certain personal information such as your name, permanent address, date of birth, email address and contact telephone numbers (home and mobile) along with your institute registration number, where applicable credit and debit card details

When you submit this information to us, you understand and agree that we may store this information in a secure manner on our server.

FM Business School will use this information to enable us to process your enrolment and we would also like to keep you regularly informed about our other products and services.

If you do not want this information to be used to inform you of other courses and services that we offer, then please indicate this preference when you submit your personal details to us

If you are being sponsored by your employer then we will share your data and course progression with them. 

Email Messages

Messages that you send to FM Business School by email may not be secure. If you wish to send any confidential information to us we would therefore not recommend that you send it via email. If you do choose to send such information via email, then you do so at your own risk.
