Course Description

Level 7 qualifications recognise highly developed and complex levels of knowledge which enable the development of in-depth and original responses to complicated and unpredictable problems and situations. Learning at this level involves the demonstration of high level specialist professional knowledge and is appropriate for senior professionals and managers. Level 7 qualifications are at a level equivalent to Masters degrees, postgraduate certificates and postgraduate diplomas.

How do I know if I am eligible for the course?

Students must have completed at least a level 5 qualification, meaning a Higher National Diploma and above. International Degrees are considered as well as high levels of work experience.

All students must be over 19 years of age, and all international students must have a high level of English Language proficiency.

Students completing this 9 - 12 months course will be considered for an MBA progression programme. Following this, students will be eligible to apply for the Post Study Work VISA. The Top Up programme will last for 3 – 6 months and will involve 2 modules and a dissertation.

MSc Accounting and Finance Top Up

Course Description

This Top – Up MSc Accountancy and Finance aims to provide you with a more thorough grounding for your future professional career progression by extending your understanding and critical awareness of the major finance theories which underpins and informs firm’s strategic financial decisions, and on which modern investment analysis and fund management are based.

The course will also provide you with the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have gained throughout your professional and post graduate studies to a substantial piece of research on an accounting or finance related topic.

How do I know if I am eligible for the course?

This Top Up course is aimed at students who have already achieved a certain level of professional qualification in Accountancy in the form of any full CCAB (Consultive Commitee of Accounting Bodies) qualification, which includes ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW, ICAS and ICAI. The course allows you to quickly top up your qualifications to a masters degree in just 6 months.

What Will I Learn?

On Successful completion of the course, you will develop a more critical knowledge and understanding of the empirical evidence relating to core financial theories and gain traditional, practical and transferable skills and competences. This should enable you to operate effectively and confidently in middle/ senior management roles of the accounting and finance profession across different industry sectors.
