On-line and Classroom learning
Duration
In the classroom the course will take 1 weeks to complete including taking the exam. This is based on 5 days attendance per week. Classes start at 10am each day and finish at 4pm with 30 minutes for lunch. Studying this qualification online will take approximately 30 hours and most learners will complete within 6 weeks.
About the course
Do you want to work in construction but lack a CSCS card?
On this course you will gain the qualifications that will help you gain a CSCS card – and upon successful completion of the CSCS Pathway you will be eligible to complete your test to obtain your CSCS card at no cost to you.
During this course you will study:

Highfield Level 1 Employability Skills, including Help with Applying for Jobs;

Functional Skills English;
-
Functional Skills Maths; and,
-
Pearson Level 1 Award in Construction
The CSCS card is required for you to work on a construction site and will open doors for you in Construction Industry.
What will I be able to do after completing the course?
Upon successful completion of the CSCS Pathway you will be eligible to complete your test to obtain your CSCS card at no cost to you!
How will I be assessed?
Examination: There will be one examination date in respect of English and Mathematics.
Portfolio of Evidence: Employability will be assessed by way of a Portfolio of Evidence.
